Speech of Maryam Rajavi In grand gathering

Maryam Rajavi: A democratic, non-nuclear Iran with the overthrow of the religious dictatorship

13 June 2015

Speech of Maryam Rajavi In grand gathering of  the Iranian resistance - Paris – 13 June 2015

In the name of God,
In the name of Iran,
In the name of Freedom,
In the name of 120,000 shining stars, the blazing flames of honor and dignity who defied the religious tyranny, and
In the name of all the unsung heroes and heroines who made the ultimate sacrifice so that others could live free; so that in the darkest hour of her history, Iran shines with stars, stands proud and cries out:  “Down with the velayat-e faqih regime!”

Voice and message of Iran’s genuine owners

Elected representatives of nations around the globe,
Honorable dignitaries,
My fellow compatriots, here and all over Iran,

I sincerely extend my gratitude to you all for joining this gathering.
We have come here to convey to the world the voice and message of Iran’s rightful owners, the Iranian
people.

Amid an unrelenting uproar over the Iranian regime’s ominous nuclear program and three inhuman wars in the region, we have come to say that those who are speaking on behalf of Iran are in fact the enemies of Iran and all Iranians.

The people of Iran neither want nuclear weapons, nor meddling in Iraq, Syria or Yemen, nor despotism, torture and shackles.

The people of Iran are the tens of millions of enraged teachers, students, nurses and workers who demand freedom, democracy, jobs and livelihood.

They say:
First, the velayat-e faqih regime has reached the end of the line.

Second, the only way to end the violations of human rights in Iran, the nuclear impasse, the crises in the region, and the confrontation with ISIS and terrorism, is to topple the Caliph of regression and terrorism in Iran.......

One look, one pause and one answer
She has opened her hands towards you. She has come to pledge herself and the movement under her leadership as always to pay the ultimate price.
Yes to pay the ultimate price herself.
She has come to give assurances that the prospect for the triumph of sensational human ideals in the second decade of the 21 century is all too attainable.
On the same note she has come to warn us that we have the privilege of being at an imperative cross road of history. A cross road that if we realize it we will accomplish every thing and if not, there is no insight of the fate waiting for us and our children through the tunnel of horror and ignorance of fundamentalism.
She has come to promise us that for the sake of the existence of a conversant movement prepared to sacrifice its livelihood we are presented with an easy choice.  But a choice which at this historic cross road challenges the inner conscious of every human being.
One look, one pause and one answer
On 13 of June in Villpant in Paris observe, listen and judge everything happening in front of you. From today you can share and join in any one you desire in this historical experience.
In concise this is the story of a generation which said NO to destiny and paid the price of its love with modesty and generosity.
A generation which to bring about the freedom of its people stepped relentlessly in to the clutches of the dragon.
A generation which did not set conditions for its struggle and created such silent heroic sacrifices that history will tell in future.
For one minute when I think of her moments and feel the fact that she has no days or nights in her struggle I am faced with the reality of her inexcusable stamina to bring about hope for her people. She cultivates millions of seeds for the sake of one single blossom.
But here I am engulfed by my own thoughts, truly in the depth of her smiles what wars, hardships, pains, cries and longings lie? My thoughts come to a halt at the sheer dimensions of this heavy burden of responsibly.
But simultaneously my inner voice tells me, is she not the symbol of “WE MUST and WE CAN”? And haven’t her women and men proved this dictum through the last half a century?
Yes she and her followers for tens, hundreds and thousands of times day in and day out have sacrificed their lives for the ideal of freedom for their people believing in peace, justice and democracy and fighting for its accomplishment with love and sacrifice.
But all this has been guaranteed by the presence of a shining sole. Yes in an enslaved Iran, in the midst of a bleeding Middle East engulfed by the fire of ignorance, terrorism and crimes of fundamentalism, coupled by the ineptitude of the callus master of the world, there has come a charismatic leader. A symbol of hope, love and humanity has come to replace freedom for the medieval rule of the Mullahs. The rule of a loathsome monster which thrives on terror, massacre, fundamentalism and atomic bomb.
She has come to replace ignorance, crime, torture  and execution with democracy, progress, love, kindness, forgivness, brotherhood, justice and freedom.
And to bring about all this she has opened her arms towards you.
One look, one pause and one answer

Why... Why?

Why... Why?

We want to get your attention to what the country minister is saying in Lebanon.
He is talking about the honor of Arabsand he is saying the conclusive policy towards this regime is a cause of pride for the Arab countries.
Why?
Why he counts this as an inaugural in the international level?
What could be the internationalthreat of the security and military extension of this regime?
Why he thinks what is going on in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Libya is not separated from the conclusive policy towards the regime of mullahs?
Yes, what is going on; in Syria, whatever ISIS and his allies do in Iraq would get the right answer with the right policy towards the regime of mullahs.
You want to take the Hussies to the corner in Yemen go to the regime of mullahs in Iran; this would be the most conclusive and the best policy being adopted for giving an end to convulsion.
For giving an end to the atomic project of the regime you should also have conclusive answers towards the regime of mullahs.
By taking weak policy you would only increase convulsion.
37 years ago the slogan of this regime was 'overtaking Geodes from Karbala' and by using this slogan he started the war with Iraq.
What has opened the way for him in getting more territory and getting to Syria, Yemen and Libya; is not adopting conclusive position by the international community towards what he does.
What 220 representative of European parliament has reached in facing with this regime is not deniable. This is a reality which is not getting any attention from US.
For uprooting this regime and for giving an end to the fundamentalism in the world; there must be an ending to the mortal influence of this regime in the region.
It is not possible to have conversation with the mullahs and at the same time raise up the flag of battle against them.
Closing the eyes towards the obvious violation of human rights in Iran would only open the way for the regime of mullahs to move forward in other countries.
Not answering any sentence of execution and torture in Iran by the international community would make this regime more active in committing crimes in other countries.
The Security Council of UN must take the regime of mullahs on corner.
No excuse is accepted in having any obstacles for unexpected inspections at the military and non-military sites in Iran.
The regime of Iran must be under pressure from four sides.
Executing the women which recently have increased in Iran must rise up the scream of the international community.
For controlling this regime must not forget the forces that have been living under the hideous government of this regime in the past 37 years.
They hate the regime deeply from inside so their request must be under concern and instead of having negotiation with the regime of mullahs; there should be constant cross questioning this regime for why he is not being responded towards the people's need.
There should be conversation with the real representatives of this people and they are the ones who must be acknowledged.
The heart of the crisis is in Iran; the way for giving an end to these crises is to shake hands with the resistance who are fighting with this regime for 37 years.
So come to the yearly gathering of the resistance on June 13th, in Paris and see what their plan is for Iran's future and what their answer towards the cruelty of this regime would be.

Iran Nuclear Talks

Other questions concern how to verify that Iran is following the deal and how to address suspicions that it has already
conducted secret nuclear weapons research. After the Lausanne talks, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declared that neither inspections of military sites nor interviews with nuclear scientists would be allowed.
That prompted concerns that Iran might be backtracking from understandings sketched out in the talks. Those worries were only partly eased when Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s deputy foreign minister, said in a lengthy interview that his country had agreed to “managed access” in which inspectors could take samples “from the vicinity of military sites.” On Saturday, however, Mr. Araqchi said that allowing Iran’s scientists to be interviewed was “generally off the table.”Experts say that wide-ranging inspections are needed to guard against cheating. They also say that the International Atomic Energy Agency needs to interview Iranian scientists to resolve questions about Iran’s suspected work on nuclear weapons designs and tests of weapons components — what the agency calls the “possible military dimensions” of the Iranian program. Iran says its program is only for civilian purposes. The State Department official said the two sides had made headway on this in Lausanne by agreeing to develop a “list of people and places for access,” but acknowledged that important details had yet to be settled.“We didn’t agree on the list, but we agreed to undertake a process to develop that list,” the official said. The nuclear talks involve Iran, the United States and five other world powers: Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia.Mr. Kerry’s meeting with Mr. Zarif on Saturday included Helga Schmid, the political director for the European Union. Among the other participants in the talks was Wendy R. Sherman, the chief American negotiator on Iran nuclear issues.Mr. Araqchi joined Mr. Zarif among the Iranian negotiators. Ali Akbar Salehi, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, was too ill to attend but participated by phone from Tehran. It is unclear when Mr. Kerry will meet again with the Iranians, but negotiators at Ms. Sherman’s level plan to convene on Thursday, the Iranians announced.Asked at the start of the session on Saturday if the negotiators expected to meet their deadline, Mr. Zarif said, “We will try.”
France’s ambassador to the United States, Gérard Araud, said last week that it could be hard to meet the deadline because Iran would engage in diplomatic brinkmanship to try to squeeze some final concessions.
